THE THEORY OF SCHOOL ABOLITION

an advanced program for youth and youth advocates

This workshop is for advanced youth advocates of social justice who want to understand the roots of youth-based oppression and how school reproduces and reinforces the carceral state.

We will critically examine the origins of schooling, its expressed and unexpressed goals, as well as the social contexts of modern schools and reforms being advocated by progressive groups.
