An introduction to the theory of Direct Action for those interested in participating in marches and disruptions! 
 
Students will learn to identify the roles necessary for an effective Direct Action, how to stay safe, understand escalation and levels of risk, and the different categories of possible Action.
 
This training will help students learn how to be participants and supporters of a protest, but not prepare them to plan a high-risk action.
